MASSAOKE

The idea is simple. A brilliant live band plays pop, indie and rock anthems and the crowd sings along, guided by lyrics projected onto a giant screen.

There’s no dreaded karaoke spotlight here – this is Massaoke, where everyone sings together and the crowd is the star of the show. The result is a euphoric celebration of some of the best songs ever written.

Massaoke has played at public and private gigs across the country and around the world. From their own club nights to festivals
including Glastonbury, Latitude and T In The Park, played at the Rugby World Cup final at Twickenham, rocked legendary London venues including Koko, Kentish Town Forum, The Electric Ballroom, The O2 Academy Islington and The Scala, played to sellout crowds at the Edinburgh Fringe, and even travelled as far afield as Australia for the Adelaide Fringe (where we won a Fringe award for 'best music').

Dozens of famous faces have joined them on stage to lead the singing, including Erasure's Andy Bell, Al Murray (on drums!), Ed Byrne, Guy Pratt, Tim Vine, Aisling Bea, Mark Steel, Phil Jupitus, John Robins, Mica Paris, David McAlmont, Bez from Happy Mondays, and even Channel 4 newsman Jon Snow (whose rendition of Parklife is a must-watch – see our videos page).

Massaoke is more than just a gig or a club night – it’s a heart-lifting, soul-filling experience
